Bringing the Planet into every meeting room.
We are EarthInvest.
We get it, starting a business is hard. When you’re focused on getting your business off the ground, sustainability isn’t always a priority. EarthInvest is a fund to help your promising new business consider the planet as a stakeholder, today.
In return for our support, the only thing we seek is a commitment from you to consider the planet as a key stakeholder throughout the lifespan of your business.

FAQs
-
Small, UK-based, asset light startups, with low-ish carbon footprint, a team size of under 10, no more than 3 years old.
-
The money must be spent as follows:
£10,000 on carbon measurement and removal via Supercritical (aiming for this to last one or two years),
£2,500 on training (e.g. net-zero consultancy and/or carbon literacy training) so you and your team are well equipped to make good decisions from approved suppliers (you may propose suppliers).
-
EarthInvest is not seeking any equity or repayment for the grant.
We ask for your business to make a good-faith long-term commitment to consider the planet as a stakeholder when making decisions.
Specifically, here’s what we expect from you (which will be agreed in a contract before the grant is awarded):
A long-term commitment to consider the planet as a stakeholder.
Invoices for proof of how the money was spent.
A three month check-in after the grant has been awarded.
An annual update for the first three years for you to demonstrate and share what steps you have been taking to consider the planet as a stakeholder.
We would like to share your story through the EarthInvest website with a focus on sharing learnings and inspiring other companies.
